-The top seven placings of designated Northern California/Nevada races receive points for the following places. 1st - 10 points, 2nd - 7 points, 3rd - 5 points, 4th - 4 points, 5th - 3 points, 6th - 2 points, 7th - 1 point. -Racers who upgrade may only carry over points from former combined-category race results only if they were racing against their new higher category. Masters and juniors points do not carry over to elite competitions. Tie-breaker will be the final race of the competition for that category.
